Robinson International Scholars Program
The purpose of the Robinson International Scholars Program is to enrich Berkeley’s culture of global learning and discovery by developing transformational leaders. The program supports a cohort of high-achieving international students who are refugees or stateless individuals from Sub-Saharan African and developing nations, as defined by the United Nations; or who have graduated from secondary school in a Sub-Saharan African or developing nation, as defined by the United Nations. Recipients have a demonstrated commitment to give back to their community, country, or continent, and/or an intention to return to their home country. There is no application process for this program, as candidates are selected for consideration through their Regents’ & Chancellor’s Scholarship eligibility.
This scholarship fund was made possible through the vision and generosity of Stephanie Burke Robinson & Mark J. Robinson, and it is part of the larger Regents’ & Chancellor’s Scholarship program.
