Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

When Need is Great

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) is a federally funded grant awarded to undergraduate FAFSA filers demonstrating exceptional financial need. Eligibility is automatically determined.

Eligibility

  • The Official Student Aid Index (SAI) must be equal to -$1,500.00.

Awarding

  • The maximum SEOG award amount is $260.00 per year or $130.00 per term.

Note:

If you receive additional scholarships during the year, the SEOG award may be reduced or eliminated if those awards reduce or exceed your financial need.
