How much financial aid could I receive?
By answering a few simple questions, continuing and prospective undergraduate students can see their estimated financial aid award, refund, or balance due.
Berkeley's Cal-culator produces estimated values based on the information you provide. The Cal-culator is Berkeley's net price calculator. It shows your estimated net cost of attendance. Please see the How to Estimate Your Financial Aid page for tips on using the Cal-culator to estimate your financial aid if your family's financial situtation has changed.
Calculate A Balance
The Calculate A Balance Worksheet helps you determine how much of a refund you might receive or the balance due after your financial aid awards have been disbursed to cover your tuition, fees, and other costs of attendance. This form helps you understand an estimate of balances due or refunds expected.
Note: Aid applicants may be asked to provide more detailed information through our verification process, which could impact the estimated financial aid information. UC Berkeley reserves the right to adjust awards to correct any awarding errors. Changes to qualifying information or revisions of federal, state, or institutional policy may result in update to aid eligibility and adjustments of financial aid awards. Information is subject to change.
Are you eligible for summer financial aid? Newly admitted students and continuing undergraduate students can estimate their summer financial aid eligibility using the Summer Cost and Aid Estimator. The estimator is located under the Summer Session resources in the My Finances section of CalCentral.
