The mission of the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office is to operationalize care and support at scale to provide equitable access to an excellent education for students and offer meaningful work for our team. We are relentlessly dynamic in our approach to staff and student support while adapting to the ever-changing financial aid landscape.
Our vision is to:

- expand access to resources to better support staff and students
- continuously deliver, innovate, and improve FA services so that we can be a dependable steppingstone to student access
We work to achieve our vision through strategic partnerships and rigorous planning. Our dedicated staff:
- Offer innovative aid programs to make higher education affordable
- Help students and parents navigate financial aid processes
- Counsel students so they understand their options and feel empowered to make the best choices to manage their financial lives
- Advocate on behalf of students
- Teach students about financial literacy
- Collaborate to help build upon a comprehensive, holistic culture of care that transforms the student experience and helps us recruit, retain, and graduate students and prepare them for success in life
- Continue efforts in fostering a sense of community by encouraging alumni and donors to connect with the university and give the gift of access to the next generation of students
