Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship

The Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship is the University of California's most historic program, and recognizes the academic merits of undergraduates. Each year 2,500 students receive a Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship, funded from one or more of our 800 university and private philanthropy funds. There is no application process other than applying for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application.

Change a Life

The university offers many opportunities to establish undergraduate scholarships to ensure that every young person in California has access to the excellence of a Berkeley education.

Donor Events

The Division of Student Affairs hosts many events each year to honor and recognize donors for their generous contributions.

Thanks for Giving

As we take this time to reflect on what we are grateful for, I want to thank you for investing in our students. Thanks for giving.
